May 18, 2014 You should be able to tell if the cassette is loose on the freehub or the freehub is loose on the wheel by wiggling it and observing with wheel out of the frame. If the cassette is loose on the freehub you need more spacer no matter what Easton says. I have a few 10sp hubs which need an extra 1mm spacer.

You have to fix the cassette. Using the Lockring Tool To tighten the lockring, remove the rear wheel. Depending on which type of lockring tool you have and the type of quick release on your bike, you might be able to slip the tool right over the quick release.
